Oral Hygiene & Preventative Services

Teeth survive in an oral environment in which proper oral hygiene is maintained. Our dental hygiene program is designed to help prevent new cavities, preserve teeth that have been restored, and manage periodontal disease.

Both natural teeth and teeth with restorations survive in an oral environment that is clean and where proper oral hygiene is maintained. Our dental hygiene program is designed to help prevent new cavities, preserve teeth that have been restored and manage periodontal disease. At the initial visit with our hygienist, oral hygiene instructions are reviewed and are reinforced at subsequent recall visits.

Dental Hygiene

Cleaning & Appointments

At our Langley practice, our dental hygienists strive to care for our patients' oral health. With routine cleanings, they can help you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile you.

For optimum oral health, visit your hygienist once every six months, or as prescribed by your dentist, depending on your needs.

At-home dental care is also extremely important for maintaining a healthy smile. Our dental hygienists will give you careful instructions on how to properly brush and floss your teeth, and will make sure you have the tools and knowledge you need to keep your mouth healthy at home.

Diagnostic Services

During your dental hygiene appointment, we will also provide you with diagnostic services. These include x-rays, oral examinations and even oral cancer screenings.

Working with You

After your dentist reviews the results of the above and come to an understanding of your oral health needs, he or she will develop a treatment plan customized just for you.

At Willowbrook Dental Clinic, we always put our patients needs first. We'll listen to your concerns, and work with you to develop an oral health plan that fits your needs.
